No, not the end of the world, just the plot ( as I understod it) from a movie that cinema students from Saphir College were shotting in this old ( and rather shooted at, like...with bullets) building just out side Tel-Aviv.I went to the first time to Israel in late August, 2007. I was a very surprised with its cosmopolitan life, its young people, the cafes, the shops, the boulevards, the slightly degraded facades of its Bauhaus style buildings, which made them so interesting, so alive, so human.Apart from all the 'war and terrorism'(thank you, mass media),Israel is an ordinary place. My drawings are done from life and try to show daily life in Israel, mostly Tel-Aviv. The Israel Sketchbook is an on going project.
